DS Cole Growers opened its doors to plant lovers for its annual open house in August. The Loudon, NH-based business welcomed more than 300 visitors, despite high temperatures exceeding 90°F. Attendees were able to see both new and old varieties of spring flowering pots, along with exciting summer flowering plants such as Sunbeckia that continue to bloom into autumn.
One area that attracted a lot of attention was the company’s expanding line of houseplants that are propagated from both cuttings and tissue culture. DS Cole tests and develops this range of young plants every year to meet growing demand.
In a video posted on company YouTube channelowner Doug Cole highlighted some favorite performers, including a biden from Kientzler, new lines of calibrachoa from several breeders and thunbergia.
